The International Federation for Peace and Sustainable Development’s President Mrs. Sally Kader in cooperation with the Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the United Nations hosted a 2017 High Level side event to the 72nd General Assembly on Ear Care and Hearing Health. The Event, in coordination with Sustainable Development Goals #3 (Good Health and Well-being), #5 (Gender Equality) and #17 (Partnerships for the Goals) was held at Conference Room 4 on September 14th, 2017 from 3pm to 5pm at the United Nations Headquarters in NY.

The High Level Event’s Keynote Speakers the 42nd President of the United States of America, Mr. Bill Clinton, Mr. Bill Austin, Ms. Barbara Bush, Heads of States, First Ladies, Foreign Ministers and Ministers of Health, Director General of the World Health Organization, along with UN Permanent Representatives, distinguished business executives, and other prominent dignitaries.

The event will be followed by a reception at the Delegates Dining Room from 6pm to 8pm by special invitation only. President Sally Kader will be honoring William F. Austin of The Starkey Foundation for his outstanding work in hearing aid care contributions.

Mrs. Sally Kader is a world renowned advocate for peace and founder of the International Federation for Peace and Sustainable Development. Since its inception in 2001, IFPSD is represented on 5 continents and in 17 countries and promotes the protection of cultural heritage, interfaith dialogue, children’s rights, human rights, empowerment of women, and human health and well-being.

Join us for these educational sessions to understand the global impact of hearing impairment as well as the ways at which the IFPSD is helping to coordinate solutions to help the world hear now”.
